Raphael E. Cuomo, PhD, MPH

Dr.Cuomo is a biomedical scientist and professor at the UC San Diego School of Medicine, specializing in cancer epidemiology, health economics, and policy. With over one hundred peer-reviewed publications in leading biomedical journals, Dr. Cuomo's innovative, data-driven approaches have advanced clinical informatics and improved the understanding of cancer outcomes in underserved populations. He has completed advanced training with Harvard University, Yale University, and the World Health Organization, further enhancing his expertise in global health. Dr. Cuomo is board certified in public health by the National Board of Public Health Examiners, a Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health, and a member of the Delta Omega Honorary Society.
